The battery will have
to be exchanged from time to time. No fixed service interval can
be given as to when the battery will need changing, because the
battery-life can vary significantly depending on the type and intensity
of use. The battery's status is indicated by the power LED.
You can reckon with 2.5 years of use.
We have attempted to make changing the battery
as simple as possible (even when it's necessary to change it with
the transmitter still on the mast). The result is a robust, screw-in
battery unit unencumbered by plugs and requiring no tools.
>> simply unscrew the exhausted
battery and screw in the new one. Finished.
Turning off the transmitter>
"disconnect" the battery

If you want to turn off the transmitter completely, for
example over the winter months, simply break the contact by unscrewing
the battery by at least 10 mm. Do not remove the battery completely!
Leaving it in place prevents the spring-loaded contact in the transmitter
from getting unnecessarily dusty.
Passivity
If the battery has been stored for a long time a passive
layer builds up within the battery i.e. the internal resistance
within the battery increases.
When you install such a battery, it is possibly that it will not
supply the necessary power straight away.
The receiver repeatedly tries to start until this passive layer
has dissipated. This can take a few minutes.
The passive layer disappears entirely with use.
