| Frequencies |
868MHz or 915MHz, band (check the label) |
| Range |
30m transmitter<=> receiver, external antenna |
| Battery |
Lithium battery: 3.6V/7.2Ah with holder. NOT rechargeable |
| Operational temperature range |
-30°C...+70°C guarantied (instrument and battery nevertheless
tested within the range -40°C...+85°C) |
| Short term water resistance |
Waterproof to at least mast depth when capsized |
| Long-term water resistance |
Water resistant for normal external use (exposure to the elements,
but not submerged) |
| Concurrent use |
Multiple units may be used simultaneously without causing
each other interference.
Each instrument has its own unique identification code and multiple
units are self-configuring in "Learn" mode. The instruments
are pre-configured and therefore already compatible ex works. |
| Battery-life on standby |
3...5 years with the receiver turned off |
| Battery-life while sailing |
2...3 years with the receiver switched on |
| Battery-life in storage |
5...10 years with approx. 1% loss per year |
| Measurement interval |
Wind direction: every 0.5...10 sec., dependent on mode
Wind speed: every 1...30 Sec, dependent on mode and wind strength
The transmitter's measurement interval is adaptive and is controlled
by the receiver. It is influenced for the most part by the internal
configuration switch setting, the length of time for which the
receiver has been switched on and the wind conditions.
The following settings have been provided: Racing =>
Sailing => Normal => Slow
Every time the receiver is switched on it starts in "Sailing"
mode. |
