Each instrument has its own unique identification code and multiple units are self-configuring in "Learn" mode. The instruments are pre-configured and therefore already compatible ex works.

The transmitter's measurement interval is adaptive and is controlled by the receiver. It is influenced for the most part by the internal configuration switch setting, the length of time for which the receiver has been switched on and the wind conditions.
The following settings have been provided:
Racing => Sailing => Normal => Slow
Every time the receiver is switched on it starts in "Sailing" mode.
